A standard unit runs on 400V and packs a 2500W punch. All that power is packed into a tube that’s just 300mm long. That’s the magic. You get a rapid temperature rise, but it also means you need to plan for the electrical footprint on your machine. The length is a smart compromise. It’s long enough to spread the heat where you need it, but short enough to squeeze into tight spots. Just be careful with the voltage. Seriously, don’t wire a 400V tube to a 230V line. It won’t perform, and you’ll risk burning it out way too soon.
Built to last, inside and out
The tube is made of quartz. It’s tough, handles sudden temperature shifts, and lets the infrared energy pass right through. The halogen cycle keeps the filament stable, so the heat output stays consistent over time. There’s also a reflective coating on the back. It pushes more energy forward, which means less wasted heat and less strain on the components nearby. And for easy hookup, we use standard R7s connectors. It’s a straight-up, drop-in replacement.
Where it shines in the real world
