It’s a standard in a lot of industrial heating chambers. So when it comes time to replace one, you don’t have to redesign the whole setup. You just drop it in and get back to work.
Built to take the heat—and the movement
Inside, you’ve got a shortwave halogen element tucked inside a quartz envelope. Quartz is tough—it handles high temps and won’t crack when the machine cycles on and off. The halogen regenerative cycle keeps the filament steady, so the output stays consistent over time. No surprises. No drift. Safety is wired in, not added on. If the heater gets tilted past its limit, a hard-wired thermal cutoff kicks in and cuts the circuit immediately. That stops runaway heating and keeps the surrounding parts protected. Then there’s the R7s connector—two pins that lock in place. It’s made to carry the full current without coming loose, even when the machine is vibrating.
Where it shines: tight spaces, big expectations
This setup is made for industrial heating where space is tight and downtime is not an option—think PET blowing, plastic forming stations, the places where reliability is everything. Going with 400V means lower current draw compared to lower-voltage options. But it does mean your machine needs a supply rated for that voltage and the right insulation clearances. Installation is straightforward: wire it up, set the mounting bracket, and the tip-over switch has your back. You’ll feel the warm-up happen quickly, and the heat output stays predictable. Just keep one thing in mind: with 2500W, plan for cooling and give it some breathing room. That way, the ambient temperature around the heater stays under control.
